July 25, 2022 update:Â
The necessary electrical repairs have been completed and the Richardson Building has been re-opened to tenants and the general public. All of our servers have been powered up and we have returned to our normal operating environment.Â
While many of the emails sent to us during the outage did come through upon restarting the servers, we cannot guarantee that we received everything during this unprecedented length of downtime. We ask that if you sent us an email after July 17th and have not heard a direct response from us, please resend that email at your earliest convenience.Â
We apologize again for any inconvenience this situation has undoubtedly caused. We thank you for your patience as we catch up on the missed week.
July 20, 2022 update:
We have been advised by building management that the main electrical systems in the Richardson Building remain offline. The building is closed, with physical access to the building being heavily restricted. Crews have been working around the clock to restore electrical services. We have been notified that further damages were identified and additional parts are needed from out of province. If all work goes as planned and inspections are passed, the updated timeline for restoration of power is midday Friday.
While our phone system remains operational, both our email and file servers have exhausted their battery reserves and will remain offline until power is fully restored to the building.
Emails sent to our office after July 17th have not been accepted by our servers. We request that you resend your email once the building is open and all services are operational. We will notify when everything is up and running.

Due to a fire in the Richardson Building concourse, physical access to the Richardson Building is temporarily unavailable. Power to the Richardson Building has been disrupted, which directly impacts our email servers. If you have been trying to reach us by email, please note that we will not be able to read or respond to your email until power is restored to the building.
